We’re celebrating National Apprenticeship Week 2022 by showcasing our fantastic apprentices that we’ve had the pleasure to give opportunities to during 2021.

At Vision Building Services we are extremely proud of all of our staff and workforce and during some pretty difficult times dealing with the Covid pandemic over the past couple of years our team have stepped up and helped deliver a continually professional service to all of our customers.

A big part of our success comes from the hard work and dedication our apprentices bring to VBS. Through strong mentoring and leadership they have all stepped up and performed admirably during unprecedented times.

We do like to regularly reward our team and have monthly employee and apprentice awards to recognise those that have gone above and beyond the call of duty.

Here’s a list of our apprentices that have been recognised during 2021.

Cameron Hipkins

National apprenticeship week 2022

Cameron Hipkins has been an Apprentice with Vision Building Services since June 2017. During that time, he has gained vast experience as he worked towards his NVQ in Electro technical Installation.

Faye Collin

We were super chuffed to announce that Faye completed her Level 2 Business Administration apprenticeship with VBS. She has made such a difference to the team in the time she has been with us & is already looking at further qualifications to suit the business such as a Foundation in Accounting course.

Jack MaCallay

Our team continued to grow from strength to strength in 2021 We we’re really excited to welcome our latest apprentice Jack McCallay to team VBS after successfully completing his Level 2 Plumbing qualification in August.

Joe Cushlow

Our monthly employee awards were created to recognise & celebrate the brilliant work our staff does on a regular basis. Our September 2021 Apprentice of the Month award was awarded to Joe Cushlow, our apprentice electrician & was thoroughly deserved after his hard work & dedication to his tasks. A big well done Joe!

Grant Jerries

In October 2021 our apprentice plasterer Grant Jeffries was awarded our Apprentice of the Month for after grabbing every learning opportunity by the horns! Well done Grant.

We also advertised for 3 additional apprentice plasterer opportunities within VBS to help cope with an increase in workloads.

Josh Marley

Our Apprentice of the Month for November was Josh Marley. Josh started in the summer of 2021 as an apprentice plasterer & has progressed brilliantly by using his initiative on jobs & has fit in very well with his colleagues here at VBS. Well deserved Josh!

The opportunities we continue to give young people looking to obtain qualifications in the skilled tradesperson profession is something we are all extremely proud of at VBS. Seeing the confidence and value our apprentices show during and after their apprentices have completed is an intrinsic part of our staff development culture and something that we are keen to ensure continues as our company grows.
